Event Type: Conference

Description:

Want to shift the dial on your R&D investment? Drawing upon the advice of innovative business leaders, this event will seek to inspire and provide practical insights to help your business develop and fund new innovative products and services.

This half day conference will take place at the brand new £105m Reckitt Benckiser’s science and innovation centre, the largest single innovation investment in the company’s history.

The government recognise the importance of innovation and R&D investment to drive the UK economy. They are committed to raising R&D investment to 2.4% of GDP. This provides great opportunities for innovative businesses in all sectors across the UK to take the lead and to invest in R&D to innovate, to develop and to grow.

We will discuss how you can be part of this exciting future.

Dame Carolyn Fairbairn, the CBI’s Director-General, will open the conference sharing key takeaways from a brand-new CBI report on regional R&D investment, which is being created in partnership with Reckitt Benckiser and will be launched at the event.

Four great reasons why you should attend:

• Practical advice on how your business can navigate government funding to support your R&D activities
• Hear from innovative business leaders on how they have overcome barriers and worked successfully with local stakeholders to deliver new game changing innovations
• Network with senior professionals at organisations who have already taken steps to increase their R&D investment and innovation programmes in the regions
